Growing Beyond the Pitch: Our Journey Into Baseball & Softball

When Mad Sports Apparel first opened, soccer was our main focus. Before expanding into other sports, we wanted to master soccer first. We spent years learning the industry, building relationships, and helping teams throughout West Texas with custom uniforms, fan gear, and apparel.

Once we felt confident in what we had built, we were ready to grow. As we became more active on social media, especially TikTok, baseball and softball teams started finding us. What started as a few orders quickly turned into opportunities to serve even more athletes in our community.

One of our first large baseball projects was with the Permian Basin Knights. While jerseys were nothing new to us, baseball pants were. We wanted to make sure we got every detail right.

Instead of guessing, Eve ordered several different samples to study the fit, sizing, construction, and overall quality. We wanted to fully understand the product before delivering it to our customer. That's always been our philosophy: if we're going to do something, we're going to do it right.

The biggest challenge wasn't learning the products—it was earning trust. We're thankful for the teams that took a chance on us early on. Their support helped us grow and showed us that we could serve more than just soccer.
