From Home Grown to Brick & Mortar: The Story of Mad Sports Apparel

Mad Sports Apparel began in 2017 with a simple goal — to help local teams in Midland get the jerseys they needed.
The idea started when Eve’s daughter, Maddie, was playing soccer for Midland Soccer Association (MSA). Her dad, Robert Gamboa, was coaching her team and quickly realized there wasn’t a place in Midland where teams could easily get custom jerseys made. Most teams had to order online or travel out of town just to find someone to make their uniforms.
Eve saw the need and stepped up to fill that gap.
Mad Sports Apparel began right from Eve’s home, where jerseys were carefully ordered and numbers were pressed one by one. Like many small businesses, the early days meant long nights, early mornings, and learning everything from scratch. Even with her family helping, building a business wasn’t easy — but Eve never gave up.
As more teams heard about Mad Sports Apparel, the business began to grow. What started with pressing numbers on jerseys eventually expanded into creating fully sublimated custom uniforms and team gear.
Today, Mad Sports Apparel has grown into its own office where customers can come in, see samples, and work directly with the team to create custom designs.
And as the business has grown, so have the services. Mad Sports Apparel now provides custom apparel not only for sports teams, but also for businesses, companies, organizations, and events throughout the community.

Even though Mad Sports Apparel has moved from a home workspace to a brick-and-mortar location, one thing has never changed — Eve and her staff still work incredibly hard to provide every customer with the best service possible.
What started in a home workspace in 2017 has grown into a local business proud to serve the Midland community, and the goal moving forward is simple: keep growing, keep improving, and continue serving the teams and businesses that support us.
